Help & Support

Coronavirus and the Church

In light of the Government guidance around non-essential contact, the Archbishops of Canterbury and York have issued advice that public worship is suspended until further notice. Church buildings are sadly closed to prevent the spread of the virus. Prayers will be said by clergy and ministers on behalf of everyone and we are currently sharing these on video via our Facebook page.

At St Nicholas

Our Church building is currently closed.

Morning Prayer, Evening Prayer and Eucharist

Father Jim and Reverend Kate will continue to practise these services, but they have to be behind closed doors. They will be shared on our Facebook site - so please please click on this link for more information of when these services will be and when you can watch. There is also now a WhatApp group for the Church, simply contact Father Jim to be added.

Sadly all of our events have been cancelled. Firstly thank you to all our hard working parishoners who have put so much effort into organising these. We will come back much stronger once the pandemic has been brought under control. Again, please follow us on Facebook or Twitter or simply check our website from time to time for more news.

As always support is available. If you need to talk please call Father Jim - 07545 896146 or Reverend Kate - 07878 959327.
