Church Flowers
Chancel flowers (also known as altar flowers) are flowers that are placed in the chancel of a Christian church. The Church teaches that “the use of living flowers and plants, rather than artificial greens, serves as a reminder of the gift of life God has given to the human community.”
We care for our planet and so we have made a decision to not use oasis, where we can and use as many flowers from our gardens, where we can to reduce the air miles and pesticides used in imported flowers.
Our flower displays are co-ordinated by volunteers, with different flowers and colours used to represent the seasons. You may wish to celebrate a special anniversary such as a birth or wedding or perhap dedicate to the memory of a loved one, please speak to one of the team.
Thank you.
